A few days after we moved we went on a cruise with my family. It was for my dad's 60th birthday. It was so much fun being on the boat together and it couldn't have come at a better time for Tom and I. We needed the relaxation after all of the moving.

This is a picture after the formal dinner. We always made sure to get together for dinner each night.
From left to right. My mom's cousin Julie and her husband Dave, My brother Kris and his wife Shauna, My mom and Dad, Tom and I, My grandma and grandpa.
It was a 3 day cruise that left from Long Beach on July 4th (we saw the fireworks at Catalina Island that night) and then went down to Ensenada, Mexico. We sat around relaxing, ATE A LOT of great food, and enjoyed the shows. We only spent a few hours in Ensenada, just long enough for us to find the perfect Christmas tree ornament for our travel tree, (a tradition that Tom and I started on our honeymoon. We have found that it is the perfect way to have something to shop for when we go to a new place without feeling like we have to get something expensive or keep it on a shelf forever to collect dust.)
None of us got seasick on the boat but it did take about 3 days for my head to stop spinning after we got off. All in all I only gained 4 pounds in 3 days. That sounds like a lot when I put it that way. I am sure it all went to Benjamin though :o) The service was great. They always came into our cabin and made fun animals out of our towels.
We are so lucky to have such a wonderful family to share these memories with.
Thanks Mom and Dad!

Yeah, I'm sure all that food and 4 pounds went right to the baby too, cause you barely even look pregnant!!! You are going to be the cutest pregnant girl, when you finally start getting bigger! Sounds like a fun time with your family. We went on a cruise when I was about 3 months pregnant and it was the worst experience! I was so SICK!! I don't know if I can ever do it again!
How fun, Vi! And you look so cute and prego...just a little prego...:) I think cruises might be out for me and Dan, since he gets motion sickness...sigh. Sounds like you had a great time!
What a wonderful time! I love being on a cruise ship!

Some other friends of ours just came back from the same cruise! I am more jealous than ever. You are very smart to go now, before little benjamin arrives!
