This cow has lived down the street from me since I was a little girl. I remember making a treasure map for my friends and brother through the neighborhood and having it lead us to the cow. Although the cow looks unloved and forgotten about he pretty much is just how I remember him. When I found out my Grandparents' party was going to be a cowboy theme I knew I wanted to do a little photo shoot with my boys on this childhood treasure. My cousin came along for the fun.

What would it be like to be 80
My grandparents both celebrated their 80th birthday this year. We had a rootn' tootn' good time together. Just about everyone was able to make it which I know meant a lot to them. This was my first time being in charge of doing group shots for a family. Let me just say it wasn't my best moment. Things got a little heated as the sun was going down and people weren't listening to me. I have a lot to learn about photographing big groups. I don't have a copy of the big group picture yet but I will add it when I get it.

First Day of Preschool
Ben started Pre-school last week. He absolutely loves it! It is a coop preschool in our town that is absolutely fabulous. I am so excited about it. I will be helping out in the class once a week. With all the moms helping out it ends up only being $30 a month!!!!!!! Can you believe it. $30 for 5 days a week. I really scored with this school. The kids are great, the moms are great, and the education is great. I just feel so blessed!

My Dad's Work
Today they opened up the facility to all the employees' families. It was fun to see all the airplanes they were working on. All the little boys LOVED it. The best part for me was to be able to sneak up to his office. (They forgot to lock it) It was so fun to see the desk that he sat at for so many years. Knowing that he is going to retire in a few months made it even more special. I was so mad I didn't bring my camera inside. It would have been awesome to get a picture of him at his desk. But rules are rules and we Danielson's follow rules, No Cameras Allowed Inside the Building!!!! So just imagine with me how cute the picture would be of my Daddy.

6 under 6
We were so lucky to have the opportunity to go to the Lufkin's home and help out while they brought this beautiful little angel into the world. Little Mattie is absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. However, that meant there were now Six kids under the age of six in the house. As you can imagine things were a little crazy while we were there.

Ben -Will be 3 in Nov.
