Pumpkin Patch with Tot Lot

 We went to the pumpkin patch at Irvine Park with Ben's preschool. We had a great time riding the train, playing games, running through the maze, hanging out with friends and picking out a pumpkin. Here are some of our favorite pictures from the day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pat and Oscars

 Today we went on a field trip with Ben's preschool Tot Lot. We went to Pat and Oscars and learned how they make pizzas. The kids absolutely loved making their own pizzas. I think they loved eating them just as much!!!!!

Here is Ben all ready for his big job.

They showed the kids around in the back while our pizzas were cooking. They even took them in the fridge!

The Beach in October!!??!!

Yep that's right we live in Southern California and get to go to the beach in October. It was an absolutely beautiful day. This is the beach Randy is thinking about getting married on so I thought I would scope it out one more time for them. I really love this beach it is so beautiful, not very crowded (that could have to do with the fact that it is Oct.) and there are awesome tide pools to play in.

1st Trip to Disneyland

We are so lucky to live so close to the Happiest Place on Earth. I am even more lucky because I have a good friend that works there and was able to get us in for free! (Thanks Heather we owe you big time)We had such a great day. We went in the morning for a few hours and when the kids started to get a little tired we were able to go home and take naps. We then went back in the evening after some dinner and a good rest.Heather was the BEST tour guide ever, she knows so much about the park. She stayed with us all morning long. It was such a huge help having an extra adult/photographer.
Ben loves to go on rides but once he is on the ride it is serious business. He virtually never smiles while he is on the ride only with he gets off. The Tea Cups are the only ride that I have seen him have a genuine smile. Who knew!!??!! I almost didn't let him get on because I was afraid he would get sick. Good thing his dad is very persuasive :0)
The lines were a little long but not too bad for a Saturday in the middle of the summer. It really was a fantastic day!

Medieval Times

Last Saturday we went to Medieval Times. We had a birthday coupon for Tom but it had to be used within the month of his birthday. We ended up using it the very last day possible.The show was awesome! The kids were totally into it.

Ben still talks about it all the time. He wears his crown EVERY single day.
