Assateague Island

On our way down to Virginia we stopped at a little island called Assateague. It was a little cool for this So Cal girl but we enjoyed sitting on the sand and enjoying the beach atmosphere. We didn't want to get too wet and sandy because we still had a few hour drive and we didn't bring towels. Somehow Jen escaped the camera.

Way too cold for Benjamin and me. One toe is all we needed in that ice water.

Zach wouldn't get out of the car, so I offered him my sunglasses. Somehow that made it all better. We're glad you came out to join us Buddy.

Zeke needed no persuasion at all. In fact he would have took off running if we would have let him. The water would have stopped him in his tracks though, take a peek at the video if you don't believe me.
