We went to Leo Carrillo this weekend. It is such a nice campground right across the street from the beach.
We went with our friends, Jen and Gary and their two kids. We stuffed Jen's car as much as we could and she and I went out early to make sure we got a good campsite.
The men came after work to join us. Lucky for them we already had the campsite almost completely set up before they got there. Benjamin loved being outside. He also liked sleeping in the tent between Tom and I. I am so glad he liked it. Otherwise he would have a tough time being a member of our family :0) Here are a few pictures from the beach the next morning. It was a little cool still so we couldn't go in the water. We didn't even play in the sand. But we had a great time looking at all the tide pools. We had a few families join us for our campfire at night which was way fun. Next time we'll have to plan a little better to get more families to go.
Tom and I met in the singles ward in September of 2005. Yes they really do work sometimes. We dated for six months and were then married in The San Diego Temple March of 2006. We are enjoying our "Happily Ever After."

Violet
I am currently taking a break from being a kindergarten teacher. I'm now a home-maker, wife , and a mother of 2 adorable sons. I love playing with my kids, going new places, photography, scrapbooking, crochet, swimming, and exploring.
I got my Associates at Ricks College which is now BYU-Idaho. I then graduated from BYU-Hawaii with a Bachelor's in education. I later went on to receive my teaching credential and Master's degree in California. In between my schooling I took a few years off to serve a mission for the Church or Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in southern Chile.
