Halloween Fun

We have had a lot of fun this year for Halloween. We went to a costume party at our friends Becky and Tyler's house. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of all of the couples in their costumes. I did however get Kim and Danny before they went home. If prizes were given they would have won!!

I tried to think of a couples costume for Tom and I but I was so busy getting everything ready for Benjamin's arrival I didn't have time to put something together. So I had to wear what fit. So I am a pirate and Tom is a pizza. It wasn't the most creative but it worked.

The food was one of the best parts. I brought "Mummy Toes". They looked so awesome!!!! It is just croissant dough raped around a little hotdog cooked and then add a sliced almond stuck on with cheese sauce (you can also use ketchup.)

Someone else brought a watermelon that they carved into a brain.

We had rats on a stick

and ghoulish grins

It was a lot of fun.

Last night I invited my friend Shelsi and her husband Eric over to carve pumpkins.

I think both pumpkins turned out great. And we had a lot of fun getting to know them better.

We are so lucky and blessed to have such wonderful friends.
