I can't believe how fast my baby is growing up.
This year we stuck with the pirate theme from Halloween for his birthday.
I made him a #3 pancake in the morning.
That afternoon I brought cupcakes with a pirate flag in it to his school. 
I don't know why I even bother making cupcakes. I should just give him a spoon full of frosting :0)
Later that night his friend Cash and his parents came over for dinner to have cannonball meatballs on rice and octopus hotdogs. We dressed the boys up in simple pirate costumes. They loved playing with their swords I made them along with their satchel with their loot. I was so excited to see Cash at school the next day still wearing his costume for picture day :0) I'm not sure how his mom convinced him to leave his sword in the car.
Even Sammy got to have some pirate whiskers on for the party.
