Wedding Preparations

So one of my new greatest loves in life is the website Pinterest. I am so absolutely addicted to it!!! If you haven't checked it out yet you REALLY need to. It came in handy for the wedding. I found a lot of great ideas on it.

This is one of them. Instead of a sign-in book at the front we used this. The guests leave their thumbprints and sign their "balloon".

This was pretty pricey to buy so I made my own!
First I found the image I wanted from the internet. Then I used my little projector I bought several years back at Micheal's to blow it up for the poster.
And voila. You have a super cute sign-in that all the guests absolutely adored (once they finally figured out what to do). Another thing I got to make for the wedding was the ring-bearers pillow. Liz wanted something super simple in her colors (gray and beige). She couldn't find anything on the internet so I said I would make it. It took all of 15 minutes to make but about 45 to clean up the "snow" that the boys got into and spread throughout the house. Our carpet is like Velcro and the stuffing clung to it like no other. That is what I get for leaving my craft stuff out :0( Ya gotta love my curious fun-loving boys.
