This Year's Camping Trip

So way back in December I booked a camping trip at Leo Carrillo for last weekend. When I booked it I had no idea Tom would lose his job a few weeks later and we would move to Orange County, or that there would be major construction happening on the I-405. Good thing it all worked out in the end. In fact because they shut down the 405 and told everyone to stay off the roads it was the absolute least traffic I have ever been in driving through LA County. Thank you people who listened and stayed off the roads. (Just as a side note it was Tom's company Penhall that did the demolition work on the bridge). Our friends the Bomans joined us for the night, and the Johnsons came that evening to have fun around the campfire. I didn't take my camera out much so I don't have very many pictures but I did get a couple.
Poor little Sammy has some kind of allergy. As soon as I took him out of the car his eyes were goopy and then they were fine as soon as we came home. I wonder what it was?None of us got very much sleep but it was still a lot of fun. They both went down in their own beds just great. I stayed in the tent to make sure they fell asleep. Unfortunately I ended up falling asleep too, so I missed all the adults talking around the fire. (Sorry Kim, I'm so bummed I missed that). Sometime in the middle of the night Sam slept with me and Ben slept with Tom.
