Tom and I went on our first adventure without Benjamin. It was Mormon Night at Dodgers Stadium. Let me tell you it was not relaxing. I was worried the whole time and called the sitter about 4 times. I would have had no problem leaving him in the day but we were leaving him right during bedtime. He usually nurses himself to sleep so without that I was really worried he wouldn't be able to fall asleep. He eventually fell asleep at around 10:00. Poor little guy. I hate throwing off his schedule that much. His babysitter Shelsi said that he did really well though. I hope she was telling the truth.
Although my mind was a little preoccupied we did enjoy ourselves. We ended up leaving the game a little early to avoid being stuck in traffic. Dodgers were down by the bottom of the 8th so we figured why bother staying till the end. As luck would have it they made a come back in the bottom of the 9th to win the game. That would have been fun to see but that's OK. There is always next year right.

The seperation was probably harder on you then on Benjamin. This should be the start of a trend, leaving kids at home and having a date with just hubby. My baby prison is starting soon, so I'll be envious of your date nights.
Congratulations on getting some alone time. It gets easier and easier! :)
That is a tough one. I can totally relate. We just left Jocelynn with my mom for a couple days. Trips are never the same. Although, it was not too bad because she loves my mom. Glad u had fun!
