9 Months

I'm a little behind. Benjamin was 9 months last week.

Stats

Weight: 21.12 lbs that keeps him at the 75% that make him about the size of an 11 month old

Height: 30 1/2 in 97%!!! He is still off the charts that makes him the size of a 13 month old

Head: 17 1/2 inches 25% I always thought he had a big head but apparently it is tiny

Cloths size: 12-18 months

Diaper Size: 3 during the day 4 at night

Eyes: Still changing but looking more brown than green

Hair: Light blond with a hint of red in the right light (almost like my little brother Randy's hair)

Teeth: 2 top 2 bottom and working on another one on the top

Here are some things he can do

• crawls anywhere and everywhere!
• pulls up on anything he can reach
• now that he is mobile he expresses his want a lot more, usually by crying :0(
• says dada, ngaa, ba, bo, mama, something that sounds like uh-oh, something that sounds like oh boy, and eeeeeeeeee (in a nasally winy tone)
• loves the song The Wheels on the Bus
• he can tell the difference between a remote that has batteries and one that doesn't, even though they are identical.
• still doesn't sleep through the night :0( I'm totally lost on this one.
• loves to eat! Cheerios, chunks of chicken, bread, bananas, apples, blueberries, crackers, green beans, kidney beans, egg yokes, pancakes, basically anything that he can use his little pincher fingers to pick up
• scrunches his forehead up when he smiles and wines
• can climb stairs but isn't safe doing it
• waves bye-bye (not always on command)
• loves playing with the blinds on the sliding glass door (it has become part of my morning routine to open them all the way to get them out of his reach)
• loves walks, if you ever need him calm this is the way to do it

He is such a happy little guy! We feel so blessed to have him as part of our family.
