Mormon Helping Hands

This weekend we did a service project with Mormon Helping Hands. We cleaned up a beach and pulled weeds. We didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked because of Benjamin's nap and my aching back from carrying him.
It was amazing to see how many people were there helping.

That is awesome, good job guys. I was so bummed I couldn't help-but hey I can't even clean my own house right now. Hopefully they do this again!

Looks fun--Chris and Ethan were going to go, but we had to look into new cars.

You are right, those baby carriers are cool, but it is a lot of weight to be hanging off of one person's body.

How fun though!

How did my stake/ward miss this? Oops.

Random cool story about Mo's and service. So the Oquirrah Mountain (West Jordan) temple got vandalized the other day and we have friends who live right down the street from it. Their stake president was asked by the newspaper for an "official response," and his response was, to paraphrase: well, it looks like we're not doing enough to show the community we love them so we'll be organizing some more service opportunities for our members outside of church functions.

Cool response, no?
