Benjamin is already 2 months old. Can you believe how fast time goes!!!
Yesterday we went to the doctor for his checkup and 1st round of shots. He is already 13 lb 9 oz. which keeps him in the 90th percentile. He is 25 in long which puts him off the charts again that means higher than the 95 percentile. He is roughly the size of a 4 month old. I don't know what I have in my milk but eventually he is going to have to hit a plateau.
He did really well with his shots. He hardly cried and didn't even have the grumpies. He just slept a lot during the day.Here are some of the things he is doing now.
- smiles at us (not just gas anymore)
- cooes
- has giggled a couple of times
- reaches his hand to hit a toy on his bouncy chair
- loves to stamp just one foot
- gets mad if you move him out of a position where he was looking at something he liked
- loves being in new places. If he is awake when you get there he will not go to sleep until he exhausts himself (i.e. the airport and the mall.)
- doesn't sleep through the night yet (he wakes up 1 to 2 times a night)
- loves being swaddled
- sleeping in his crib
We love our little man and think he is just about the cutest thing ever.

Yes, I totally agree...he is just about the cutest thing ever! I love that little boy already and can't wait to meet him. Hey, we might be in Cali at the end of March. Maybe we can meet up! Did you know that Katie Foate is getting married? She's getting married to some guy from Layton which is in the next town over from me. I'm going to do her cake for her. Cool, huh?

It was so great to see you guys too. I wanted to hold Ben, but our family is still fighting off a wicked cold so I didn't want your family to get it too. Next time I hope I'm all better so I can finally squeeze him!!

Oh he is soo cute! I love healthy babies and I can't believe he is growing up so quickly before our eyes!

Oh my gosh!! I didn't even know you birthed the keiki yet. CONGRATS you guys. he is gorgeous! And big. I was thinking he looked like 5 months old in the pics. Way to grow that lil boy!
