This year for our anniversary we decided to do a family trip to the Santa Barbara Zoo. It is a small little zoo which is perfect if you have a 1 year old that refused to take his nap in the car. Benjamin loved seeing all the animals!!!! He knows a lot of the signs, sounds, and words for them. It was fun seeing his face light up when he recognized an animal from the books we read. You would never know he didn't take his nap that day, he was in such a good mood. Which made it so we all had a great time!

It was "Princess Day" at the zoo, so there were lots of little girls running around in their princess costumes. Benjamin wasn't too sure what to think of it all.
